Step 2 — Clinic and surgeon matching

Based on your goals, we shortlist accredited Seoul clinics and identify the specific board-certified surgeon who would perform your procedure. Every surgeon we recommend is verified against the Korean Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons (KSPRS) registry.

Step 3 — Preparing for your trip

Once you confirm a clinic, your coordinator helps with logistics. US, Singapore, and Hong Kong citizens can enter Korea visa-free for up to 90 days. If a medical visa (C-3-3) is needed, we provide the documentation. See our stay-length guide for recommended recovery periods by procedure.

Before you fly, you will have: a confirmed surgery date, a named surgeon, an itemized quote, recovery accommodation recommendations near Gangnam, and a coordinator's direct contact for anything that comes up.

Step 4 — Surgery day and on-site support

Your coordinator meets you at the clinic and provides real-time English interpretation throughout the day — pre-op consultation, consent review, and post-op instructions. They stay with you on-site.

Korea's operating-room CCTV law (effective September 2023) allows recording at the patient's request for procedures under general anesthesia. Your coordinator can help you navigate this process if you choose to use it.

After the procedure, your coordinator accompanies you to your recovery accommodation, walks through medication instructions, and confirms the next-day check-up schedule with the clinic.

Step 5 — Recovery and aftercare

During your stay in Seoul, your coordinator is available for follow-up appointments, stitch removal, medication questions, and anything else that comes up. They accompany you to every post-op visit and translate the surgeon's instructions.

When your surgeon clears you to fly, your coordinator helps arrange transport to the airport. Typical recovery stays vary by procedure — roughly 5–7 days for eyelid surgery, 7–14 days for rhinoplasty, and 10–14 days for jaw or facelift procedures. The exact timeline depends on your surgeon's assessment.

Back home, the relationship does not end. Your coordinator remains your point of contact for questions, follow-up photos, and anything you need to communicate to the clinic. Your case stays open — it does not close at the airport.
